Role
[LIVED IN] showcased 41 theses. The gallery acted as an extension of our “home”. Thrifted furniture such as tables and table cloths, alluded to this idea of home. Students were invited to customize their spaces and fill it with their work.

VISUAL IDENTITY | DELIVERABLES
As an extension of Edifice, our typographic system falls on a isometric grid to give a sense that we are building a structure. The structure is then filled with our individual works that would then transforms into our home. The merchandise were chosen based on our home: posters to decorate our rooms; postcards for our mailbox; magnets for our fridge; stickers for our waterbottles; and keychains for our home that we can always return to.
The studio is our home and these are our rooms
CONCEPT
[LIVED IN] is about creating a space reminiscent to our places of home and studio. By bringing our personal objects, frames, and furniture to create a place to display our work, we blur the line between home and studio. Designers were invited to bring in their own objects and furniture to display their work which we combined with the tables and studio objects from our classroom space. We then collaborated to create a sense of abstract place.
LAYOUT
With the gallery walls, we simulated entering an intimate, welcoming space with separate “rooms” to experience such as a Living Room, Media Room, Bedroom, Library, Kitchen, Laundry Room, and Powder Room. Curatorial team assigned each designer to a general space within these “rooms”, welcoming guests into our designed chaos.
